Cedara Raises $2.7M in Seed Funding

Cedara, a New York-based provider of a carbon intelligence platform, raised $2.7M in Seed funding.

The backers were not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the commercial rollout of its sustainable media solutions in the US, UK and additional international markets.

Led by co-founders David Shaw and Andrei Baragan, Cedara provides a carbon intelligence platform for the media industry, which enables organizations of any size, along with their employees, to measure, reduce, offset and report on all carbon emissions, also enables ad platforms, publishers and vendors to share carbon data to media agency account teams and brands, so they can track their overall carbon footprint from campaign activities as well as their reduction efforts towards net zero.
