BankiFi Appoints Fred Dumas As Chairman

COLUMBUS, Ohio–(BUSINESS WIRE)–BankiFi, a leading provider of embedded banking solutions, has appointed Fred Dumas as the new Chairman of the Board for BankiFi Americas. As chairman, Dumas will be responsible for providing broad institutional guidance and oversight for the North American division.

Dumas has more than 30 years of experience in finance and financial technology. Previously, Dumas served as the chairman for Dark Cubed, senior vice president for Bottomline Technologies and senior vice president of cash management at S1. Dumas’ technical knowledge and leadership experience will guide BankiFi as it continues its growth in North America.

“BankiFi’s growth around the globe has been amazing to watch. Across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and North America, BankiFi has helped countless financial institutions better serve their SMB customers,” said Dumas. “The modern payments landscape has revolutionized how people pay for all manner of goods and services, and small businesses must implement similar technology to remain competitive. I am very excited to join the BankiFi Americas team and help SMBs across the United States and Canada.”

Dumas’ appointment follows BankiFi’s first partnership in North America. In October of this year, BankiFi partnered with Florida-based financial institution Axiom Bank to provide cash management solutions to its SMB customers.

“Fred’s addition to the BankiFi team is a massive boon for the entire organization,” said Keith Riddle, CEO of BankiFi Americas. “As our North American operation is still growing, Fred has the know-how and leadership experience to manage the unique challenges of the North American market. I’m looking forward to working with Fred and building BankiFi’s North American division together.”

“We’ve had a fantastic first six months in North America thanks to the guidance of Tom Shen and Keith Riddle,” said Mark Hartley, founder and CEO of BankiFi. “Fred’s appointment to the BankiFi Americas board is another huge win for us and will no doubt set us up for even more success in 2023.”
