BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sustainable footwear brand Allbirds has opened one of its biggest stores in the world today in Boston – its fifth retail site in the area.
The stunning new Prudential Center store measures 3,700 square feet and, in keeping with the brand’s sustainable focus, uses natural materials throughout the space, including a custom New England-sourced service desk, custom wood try-on chairs and displays, and uniquely shaped mirrors.
The store also pays homage to Boston through special edition wooden pins, inspired by The Fens’s turtle population, and tote bags celebrating the local yellow-crowned night heron.
Customers can see the carbon footprint of each product clearly displayed – a first for the fashion and footwear industry, and a hallmark of Allbirds’s transparent approach to sustainability.
Allbirds will also be offering complimentary product customization from local artist @Goody_Great between Friday, December 2nd through Sunday, December 4th.

In store, customers can check out new products, like the new style-forward Plant Pacer ($135) made of plastic-free vegan plant leather as well as fan-favorites like the Wool Runner ($110) classic and the Tree Flyer ($160) road running shoe. Additionally, the just-released Fluff Collection as well as the water-resistant Mizzle Collection will be available just in time for the cozy holiday season.
The store is located at 800 Boylston Street, Prudential Center.
