The Community Action Council of Howard County Introduces New Director of Early Childhood Education – Erin Adelsberger

The Community Action Council of Howard County (CAC) welcomed new Director of Early Childhood Education (ECE), Erin Adelsberger, to their team of accredited professionals on Monday, November 7th. Adelsberger will be filling the position previously held by newly appointed CAC President Tracy Broccolino.

Longtime DMV local with robust collegiate experience, Adelsberger has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University and Master of Education degree from the University of Maryland.

Boasting an extensive list of professional titles, Adelsberger has experience in birth – 12th grade special education, project management, and national-level leadership, supporting an impressive catalog of schools nationwide.

In her new role, Adelsberger will design and implement strategies to grow and develop the ECE department while supporting service integration across all organizational areas. The Director of Education is a key member in supporting CAC’s mission to diminish poverty and enable self-sufficiency for all Howard County individuals, families, and children in need.

AcknowledgingAdelsberger’s accomplishments and expressing enthusiasm for the future, Tracy Broccolino said, “Erin is a dynamic and structured leader who will lead CAC’s Early Childhood Education team and direct their progression through continuous program improvement.”

When asked her personal thoughts regarding her new title, Adlesberger shared, “I am delighted and honored to join the CAC team in support of the Early Childhood Education programming. I look forward to working with the team and continuing to cultivate a program that is both proactive and responsive to the needs of all families and students.”
