Fiske & Company, a full-service accounting, financial forensics, and litigation consulting firm, announce Fred Freifeld, CPA, has been named Principal, Tax & Accounting after merging his accounting firm with Fiske & Company.
Freifeld has operated his own accounting firm since 1990. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Freifeld works with individuals, businesses, trusts and estates on tax planning and the preparation of corporate and individual income tax filings.
He has served as an expert witness in the Broward County Circuit Court and with the National Association of Securities Dealers, the predecessor of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Freifeld is a founding member and past president of the West Broward Estate Planning Council, Inc., as well as serving as Chairman of the Board and President of the Estate Planning Council of Broward County, Inc. He served as Chair of the Board and President of the South Florida Chapter of the International Association for Financial Planning.
Freifeld has been a guest on radio and television programs to discuss taxes; been a speaker at forums and symposiums, including the South Florida Chapter of the International Association for Financial Planning (now FPA), and the Internal Revenue Service.
He has a Master of Accounting degree from Florida State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcasting and Film from Boston University. While at FSU, he was a member of the Beta Alpha Psi honorary accounting society.
Freifeld is based in Fiske & Company’s Fort Lauderdale office.
