Business For The Arts Of Broward Hosts Second Annual Art & Somm

An intimate evening awaits guests during Business for the Arts Broward’s (BFA) Second Annual Art & Somm, presented by Burdette Beckmann, inc. (BBI). A sommelier will guide a wine tasting and food pairing and guests will enjoy an artist encounter with featured artist William Braemar and entertainment by Gold Coast Jazz Society in an event that benefits BFA’s Endowed Fund for the Arts at the Community Foundation of Broward.

Art & Somm is set for Thursday, November 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. at MAD, 481 S. Federal Highway in Dania Beach. Tickets to this exclusive private event are limited and are $250 per person. To purchase tickets, visit https://checkout.square.site/buy/XZ5LIQS337IY5LAOXV4W4JNY.

Braemar’s artwork is the result of an amazing life experience and a personality that hungers for rich character defining adventures. His artwork can be defined as abstract expressionism, notably flavored with valiant colors, rich strokes and provocative themes. From the Caribbean flavored abstract paintings inspired by his Cuban heritage to the ornately crafted sculptures, his artwork appeals to a wide cross-section of

collectors. He defines my artistic style as abstract in nature coupled with an expressionist quality. “My interpretation of a subject matter is transformed into rich, vibrant bold colors – timeless, awakening the soul, uplifting and radiant,” Braemar said. “My use of color evokes many moods. Each piece I create is a moment in my life and therefore reflects that period of time – my art is the reflection of my eyes looking into my soul.”

In addition to presenting sponsor BBI, the incredible wine selection is generously provided by BREAKTHRU Beverage Group. Additional sponsors include BBX Capital, Cathy & James Donnelly Family Fund at the Community Foundation of Broward, MAD, ICON, UBS, Castle Group, Spirit Airlines, BankUnited, RSM, Judith Ann Linnell Foundation Fund at the Community Foundation of Broward  and Grant Thornton.
