Compass Continues Investment in Greater Philadelphia Growth, Talent, and Leadership

The country’s largest independent real estate brokerage is deepening its roots in

Greater Philadelphia, and has recently attracted some of the region’s top talent

Compass of Greater Philadelphia announced today the company is adding seven new leaders to its executive and local teams. Since its founding in 2012, Compass has worked to change the real estate industry through a tech-enabled process to provide real estate agents with a set of tools to increase efficiency and sales volume, reducing the friction often experienced in a real estate transaction. Compass has grown quickly since launching in the region in June 2018 and will increase its support for Agents by adding key leaders who have a track record of success in the Greater Philadelphia region.

“The ability to make investments to support our Agents is a direct result of their success in helping clients navigate a very challenging Real Estate environment during this pandemic,” said Jeff Bedard, Compass Regional President. “Our business strategy is simply to provide the top Real Estate professionals with the best technology, tools and staff to help grow their business, and the exceptional leaders we are adding to the team will help accelerate this strategy and make a bigger impact in Philadelphia, in the Suburbs, and throughout Central and Southern New Jersey.”

With the hiring of these individuals, Compass is showing their commitment to their customers, the real estate agent, with a focus on this thriving region during a time where the residential housing market is at its fiercest for both buyers and sellers, as inventory of homes for sale is at a historic low point throughout the region.

Named the #1 Top Workplace in 2020 by The Philadelphia Inquirer, Compass continues to invest in Agent support across the Region.  In the first quarter of 2021, the company has hired more than 30 staff roles across Agent experience, operations, marketing, design, and Agent finance.  Compass is still hiring in the Region to support continued growth, with open positions found on Compass.com/careers.
