Today, Revolution Growth announced that Ryan Simonetti has joined as a venture partner, serving as an advisor to the portfolio and playing a central role in the fund’s proptech work. Simonetti is the CEO of Revolution Growth-backed Convene, a leading provider of premium workday experiences with a global network of meeting venues and flexible office locations.
Since co-founding Convene in 2009, Simonetti has overseen a massive expansion to 26 locations and raised over $460M in funding. Earlier this year, the company announced strategic investments from Hudson’s Bay Company and Ares Management – catapulting Convene to the largest premium flex meeting, event, and workplace provider in North America and Europe.

Simonetti is also the co-founder and chairman of Ease Capital, a digital lending platform for multifamily real estate. He began his career as a real estate banking analyst in the global real estate group at Lehman Brothers, where he focused on the structuring and securitization of commercial mortgage-backed securities. Following Lehman Brothers, Simonetti joined Gramercy Capital Corp. as a vice president where he was responsible for the restructuring of a billion-dollar loan portfolio including $600 million of hospitality-related real estate investments.
He has been recognized on Commercial Observer’s inaugural Power PropTech List, Real Estate Forum’s 50 Under 40 list, Inc. Magazine’s 30 Under 30 and named as a “Top Entrepreneur” by Crain’s New York and a finalist in Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year® New York Awards.
