CoreNet New England Raises Nearly $18,000 For Boys & Girls Clubs Of Boston

The CoreNet Global New England Chapter (CoreNet New England) is pleased to announce that the organization hosted its 21st Annual Charitable Golf Tournament. The event was held at Pine Hills Golf Club in Plymouth, MA for over 200 guests, bringing together corporate real estate professionals for a day of golf, networking and fundraising for Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston.

This year’s charitable golf outing included breakfast and Opening Drive cocktails, followed by a day on each of Pine Hills’ two courses complete with a grilled lunch, a golf clinic and a Break the Glass fundraiser. At the cocktail reception, CoreNet New England members, sponsors, volunteers and Chapter leadership enjoyed lobster rolls and bid on raffle prizes while the Chapter announced the on-course game winners. All 59 foursomes and the 20 golf clinic participants enjoyed a great day and we thank everyone for their support and participation.

“We are so pleased to raise funds for Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, with the support of our Chapter’s Community Reinvestment Committee, because the organization is dedicated to the young people of the city where many of us live and work, and they work tirelessly to ensure those young people in our community have the opportunity to realize their full potential,” said Maureen Rystrom, President of the New England Chapter of CoreNet Global.

The Golf Committee Co-Chairs, Christopher Currie and Sean Murphy, stated that “our sponsors’ support is truly appreciated and greatly contributed to our ability to raise close to $18,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston in their efforts to support community resilience for today’s youth.” We are excited to be back at Pine Hills next year for our 22nd Annual Charitable Tournament and look forward to announcing the 2023 date soon!

“As we continue working with our members throughout Boston and Chelsea, it is clear that the need and the urgency to act on behalf of our young people is even greater now than before the pandemic”, stated Lauren Simone, Boys & Girls Club of Boston’s Senior Director of Corporate & Foundation Engagement. “Your support is helping BGCB build the next generation’s talent pipeline and close the opportunity gap for our City’s youth.”
