Baker Donelson Welcomes Michael Reynolds as Senior Public Policy Advisor

Michael W. Reynolds, formerly deputy policy director and team lead for aviation for the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, has joined Baker Donelson as a senior public policy advisor in the Government Relations and Public Policy Group, based in the Firm’s Washington, D.C., office.

Burke, chair of Baker Donelson’s Government Relations and Public Policy Group. “Michael brings decades of highly relevant government policy experience, serving both in the U.S. government and in private practice. He is a great addition to our deep bench of legal and policy professionals.”

Mr. Reynolds has served in various roles with the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation for more than seven years, most recently under the committee’s ranking member, U.S. Senator Roger Wicker of Mississippi.

Mr. Reynolds’ experience also includes his role as executive advisor to the transportation team at the consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton and a stint as the deputy assistant secretary of transportation for the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Office of Aviation and International Affairs. He also previously served as aviation counsel to the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee and spent six months as general counsel to the National Civil Aviation Review Commission (also known as the Mineta Commission).

Mr. Reynolds received his J.D. from the William & Mary Law School and his Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University.
