MotionPoint Appoints Evan Kramer As CEO

COCONUT CREEK, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–MotionPoint Corporation, the company trusted to translate and operate more than 1,500 multilingual websites for hundreds of global brands in more than 40 languages, today announced the appointment of Evan Kramer as CEO. Kramer has over 25 years of experience managing private equity and venture-backed companies focused on digital transformation, marketing, and technology, most recently with White Glove and Knowfully Learning Group.

This announcement comes a year after an investment from Lightview Capital, a leading private equity firm focused on enhancing MotionPoint’s growth and strategic positioning. Kramer is tasked with further expanding MotionPoint beyond its core translation technology and solutions into new markets and capabilities.

“MotionPoint and Lightview are thrilled to be working with Evan,” said Rich Erickson, co-founder and Managing Partner of Lightview Capital. “We share the same auspicious long-term view of online and multichannel translation, and the powerful, positive impact it provides businesses and their customers.”

“In his first few weeks, we’ve already seen great progress and look forward to further developing and improving MotionPoint’s proprietary software and positioning,” Erickson added. “We’re excited to partner with Evan and look forward to seeing his vision for MotionPoint come true. ”

“I see a major opportunity for MotionPoint to help customers deploy superior translated customer experiences in any language and content format,” said Kramer. “At MotionPoint, we’re on track to release a robust translation platform that provides concierge-level translation management, plus optimizations and tooling that will give our customers the flexibility, control, and transparency they need to impact outcomes. Customers should focus on their marketing and core business functions, not translation.”

MotionPoint helps hundreds of large organizations achieve predictable translation investments through adaptive translation technologies that yield cost-efficiencies over time. This growth has triggered Lightview’s interest in Kramer as the new CEO to lead MotionPoint through its next growth phase.
