The Republik Gives Village Dental A Smile

When Village Dental wanted to brighten its organizational smile; they turned to The Republik for a cleaning and polishing of their brand. The agency took on the assignment for their new client and did a through exam of the problem, according to agency Chief Executive Officer, Robert Shaw West.

West explains, “ It’s a universal truth – given the choice, people would choose white, straight, healthy teeth over the alternative. Even so, people avoid the solution – seeing a dentist regularly – in pretty astounding numbers. Lot’s of fears and phobias at play. And over time, down right embarrassment. Village Dental wants to attract these avoiders, without an “I told you so” attitude.”

Our job is to convince these people that if they can see their way towards making an appointment, Village Dental will help make their worries disappear, West concludes.

The result of their examination is a series of :05, :10, :15 and :30 humorous, and not so humorous situations in a Waiting Room, Grocery Store and a Poolside Painful Sunburn, that ask ‘When Life Stands Still, When Life is A Circus and When Life Gets Hot, ‘Smile it Away’ with a convenient, painless visit to Village Dental.

Village Dental CEO Chris Martin adds, “Republik and their team are outside the box thinkers   We believe dentistry needs that kind of thinking. There are so many people who are afraid of the dentist, or see it as unnecessary or too expensive   We sincerely believe that a healthy, clean, and bright smile can open the door to a more fulfilling and happy life   We intend to break down the barriers of dentistry through a different and uplifting message   The message ‘Smile it away’ truly resonates with our core beliefs; not just as dentists, but as people.   We are excited to bring this message to our community through our partnership with this outstanding group of like minded thinkers at The Republik “

Spots are running in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill marketplace and The Republik is handling media planning and buying for the client.
