Then you should plan to attend the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation‘s “Startup Maryland Day” Celebration to meet, learn from, and cheer on some of the area’s most promising and successful business leaders.
Now in its 10th year, Startup Maryland’s “Pitch Across Maryland” bus tour will stop at the University of Baltimore for an afternoon of events, including informational sessions and a business pitch showcase, on Thursday, September 29.
This year’s celebration will feature workshops, one-on-one coaching, a startup “boot camp,” and networking opportunities, along with food, drinks, and more — in other words, something for anyone looking to join Baltimore’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Held in UBalt’s Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (BC 104), from 2 pm – 6 pm, and open to the public, UBalt’s “Pitch Across Maryland” event will include:
- “How-to” sessions on topics important to entrepreneurs and founders, such as angel investing 101 & support for minority and women entrepreneurs
- The chance to record your pitch on the “STRT1UP Road Show” [https://startupmd.org/stories] bus
- “Office hours” with UBalt’s Mentors and Entrepreneurs-in-Residence
- Meeting and mingling with investors, business leaders, and other like-minded people
