Broadway Construction Group Appoints Rich Ruiz as VP, Managing Director of the Southwest Division

Broadway Construction Group, LLC is pleased to announce that Rich Ruiz has joined BCG as the firm’s Vice President, Managing Director of the Southwest Division. Rich will play an essential role supporting BCG’s expansion in Texas and Florida, as well as the joint venture, Zuri 3- BCG Construction LLC in Houston and Minnesota. As VP/MD Rich will oversee business development, staff management, project management, budget planning, forecasting, risk management and other aspects of the company’s national business endeavors.

Rich brings with him a wealth of industry experience including, his leadership role as the Senior Project Manager of the IAH Mickey Leland International Terminal, a $450 million dollar project. The project was $20 million over budget and 4 months behind schedule prior to Rich stepping in. Within the first year of taking the position, a full detailed program was developed, which brought the project’s cost back to budget and set the project back on track to its original completion date. Rich also served as the Regional Director of Planning and Development for United Airlines, where he was responsible for all United capital and facility projects at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, United properties in Houston, and over 59 stations throughout United’s South Mexico and Central America Region. Rich led his team on multiple projects totaling over $600 million, ensuring that the projects met defined goals and standards.

With over 25 years of industry experience, his determination, leadership, and innovative qualities, along with his past accomplishments provide BCG with assurance that Rich’s presence will be a major contribution to the expansion and success of our Southwest Division.
