The mixed-use village celebrates national holiday with an adoption event
WHAT: Halcyon invites all furry friends and their humans to celebrate their pups on National Dog Day! Don’t have a dog? Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelter will be onsite with adoptable dogs looking for their forever home.
Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelter, Georgia’s largest no kill animal shelter and rescue organization, will be at the Village Green from 5 – 7:30 p.m. with lovable dogs available for adoption. For every person who comes to Halcyon on National Dog Day and wants to pet one of the Furkids pups, Halcyon will donate $1 to Furkids to support their ongoing efforts in rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, providing them with the best medical care and nurturing environment while diligently working to find their forever home that they deserve. In addition, Unexpected Pooch, a pet boutique in Alpharetta, will donate a $50 store gift card to every person who adopts a Furkids pup.
Guests can stop by the dog-friendly restaurants and retailers or hang out on the Village Green with their furry best friends. No outside food or drinks are allowed at the event.
