The approximately 15,000 sq. foot office building complex will house firm’s international headquarters
Zumpano Patricios and the ZP Land Holding Companies proudly announce the acquisition of the 328 Minorca Avenue Building in Coral Gables. Together with the 312 Minorca Avenue Building previously purchased in 2008, the resulting office building complex will provide the firm with over 40 offices, 4 conference rooms, and 20 parking spaces, for attorneys at its headquarters.
The multimillion-dollar purchase, redevelopment, and headquarters expansion project, will be named “Counsel Commons.”

Located in the epicenter of downtown Coral Gables, renowned architect Ramon Pacheco has been selected to lead the design effort for Counsel Commons, which will boast a tempered elegance and Mediterranean-style architecture complementary to the firm’s existing facilities. Once completed, the property will be one of the largest owner-occupied professional service office buildings in the area.

Zumpano Patricios’ expansion is consistent with its success in purchasing and redeveloping buildings in marquee locations across the United States. The new Coral Gables headquarters project will join the existing portfolio of owned buildings in the firm’s other marquee locations, including: 134 East 38th Street in New York City near Grand Central Station, 829 North Milwaukee Avenue, in Downtown Chicago, and 2061 E. Murray Holladay Road in Salt Lake City.
Zumpano Patricios, which is embarking on its milestone 20th year in practice, has offices in Miami, New York, Chicago, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. The firm has a reputation for trying significant cases of international importance including Weininger v. Castro in which almost $24 million was recovered in the landmark case against Fidel and Raul Castro representing the daughter of CIA Pilot Thomas “Pete” Ray. In addition, Zumpano became the first attorney in U.S. history to recover for a victim of terrorism against a Mexican cartel in his representation of the son of a slain former UN Ambassador in Caballero v. FARC, et al. Over $20 million has been recovered on that case thus far.
