Koglin Will Focus on Food and Beverage Industry
GCG Financial, an Alera Group Company and a full-service financial services firm, has named Alex Koglin Senior Benefits Consultant. His appointment is part of the firm’s ongoing efforts to accelerate growth and position the company for long-term success, while continuing to focus on delivering exceptional client experience.
With nearly a decade of experience in healthcare benefits – including extensive knowledge of the food and beverage industry – Koglin will be responsible for business development, strategic playbook review, client relations, and functioning as liaison between sales and service teams.
Furthermore, he’ll use his process-driven approach to identify best-practice benefits administration solutions and better leverage technology on behalf of clients.

Prior to joining GCG Financial, Koglin held various client service and consulting positions for companies including CBIZ Insurance Services and Launchways, where he worked with a diverse range of companies and developed a focus in serving food and beverage companies. Koglin has developed benefit strategies for restaurant groups, specialty food manufacturers, distributors, specialty coffee roasters, and breweries. He has overseen the merger of benefit programs following multiple large-scale acquisitions, using those opportunities to identify program improvements and substantial cost reductions.
