ExxonMobil Selects Acorn International To Lead Environmental/Social Impact Studies For Guyana Project

Acorn International, a worldwide environmental and risk management consultancy with offices in Boston and Houston, today announced it was selected, to perform an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and lead the public consultation program for the Uaru Project, the fifth offshore development project in Guyana of Esso Exploration and Production Guyana Limited (EEPGL), an affiliate of ExxonMobil.

The proposed project, located in the eastern portion of the Stabroek Block, is approximately 200 kilometers (125 miles) from Georgetown. Production is planned to begin at the end of 2026- 2027.
