St. John Properties, Inc., a commercial real estate firm which has developed more than 22 million square feet of space and is active in nine states, has selected Cole Switzer as Staff Accountant. Switzer, who will work from the corporate headquarters in Baltimore, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Loyola University Maryland.
In his new position, Switzer will be responsible for day-to-day general accounting functions to complement the activities of the company’s in-house accounting team, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger and various other bookkeeping and financial tasks. He will also verify the accuracy of vendor invoices and assist with monthly and quarterly reporting activities and year-end audits.
