Ted Moudis Associates Wins CoreNet 2022 Corporate Real Estate Award For Excellence

New Manhattan Office for Ducera Partners Earns ‘Project of the Year’ from CoreNet Global’s NYC Chapter

Ted Moudis Associates (TMA), a leading architectural interiors firm specializing in workplace design, is honored to announce that the firm’s design for the Ducera Partners’ new Manhattan office earned Project of the Year by CoreNet Global’s New York City chapter. The Ducera Partners’ office was recognized by the CoreNet 2022 Corporate Real Estate Awards For Excellence in the 25,000-to-100,000-square-foot category for developing a unique design concept, elevating the employee experience, and demonstrating improved productivity.

“We take great pride in crafting design concepts that welcome team members back to the workplace,” said Ted Moudis, AIA, Senior Principal of Ted Moudis Associates. “To have our work for Ducera Partners be recognized with the CoreNet 2022 Corporate Real Estate Award For Excellence is a testament that we are successfully leaving a lasting positive experience on the workforce community. At a time when the commercial real estate industry needs new solutions for encouraging employees to return to the office, workplaces that emphasize thoughtful functionality and collaboration are paramount.”

Following Ducera’s directives, TMA conceived a welcoming, front-of-house zone for clients and a bright, open workspace for staff. The design team implemented a modern interior design concept, highlighted by an elegant lobby to greet visitors and staff. The team capitalized on the project’s midtown Manhattan location at 11 Times Square to conceive 360-degree views of the cityscape from the 36th floor. Designed to maximize the surrounding views, the conference rooms provide client comfort and a striking monochromatic palette. To accommodate the firm’s rapid growth, TMA designed ample work spaces and wellness considerations for staff. A key design feature taken into consideration was providing mirrored interiors that reflect the client’s extensive modern art collection.

Based in New York City, the TMA design team tasked with conceiving compelling and transformational interiors for the Ducera Partners office consisted of Mitch Ross, Studio Principal; Jeff Knoll, Studio Design Principal; Andres Navia, Senior Associate, Team Leader; and Henry Sexton, Senior Project Architect.

Celebrating achievements in regional commercial real estate, CoreNet Global’s New York City chapter connects groups of professionals, end-users and service providers to advance knowledge, promote personal excellence and add value to each individual and their respective enterprises.
