Ariel Property Advisors Appoints Gail Mitchell Donovan, Amanda Bukobza and Julian Montilus

Ariel Property Advisors is pleased to announce several new hires. Demonstrating its commitment to industry-leading real estate client service through rigorous market data and analytics and a collaborative, geographically strategized brokerage system, Ariel continues to develop and grow its team of talented professionals. New professionals to the Ariel team include Gail Mitchell Donovan, Senior Director of Communications, Amanda Bukobza, Associate, Investment Sales and Julian Montilus, Associate, Investment Sales, who have all recently joined Ariel to support the firm’s New York team.

Gail Mitchell Donovan

Gail Mitchell Donovan is the Senior Director of Communications for Ariel Property Advisors. In this role, she is responsible for developing and executing Ariel Property Advisors’ communications strategies and overseeing all published content.

Ms. Donovan first joined Ariel Property Advisors as Director of Communications when the firm was founded in 2011. She also has held a variety of communications and marketing positions at other commercial real estate firms, including Avison Young and Eastern Consolidated, and at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. In addition, she was the Founder and Principal of her own public relations and marketing firm, Donovan Communications and worked as a reporter, editor, and columnist for publications in Brooklyn and Oklahoma City.

She earned her master’s degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from New York University, and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma. Ms. Donovan is a member of REBNY, Women in Housing and Finance and Small Property Owners of New York.

Ms. Donovan plays a significant role in Ariel’s community outreach programs, including the Chapin and Legal Outreach Internship Programs and other activities. She previously served as President of the Junior League of Brooklyn, as a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer for Graham-Windham Services to Families and Children, as President of the University of Oklahoma’s Alumni Club of Greater New York and as a volunteer with many non-profit organizations in Brooklyn.

She is the recipient of Bisnow’s award honoring women professionals for Outstanding Excellence & Influence in New York Commercial Real Estate; the University of Oklahoma Regents’ Award for Dedicated Service; and she was honored by the Crown Heights Youth Collective at the Brooklyn organization’s 25th anniversary gala.

Amanda Bukobza

Amanda Bukobza is an Investment Sales Professional with Ariel Property Advisors. In this role, she is responsible for executing exclusive listings and facilitating business development initiatives throughout New York City. She is involved in marketing an array of asset classes including multifamily, mixed-use, industrial, commercial and development.

Prior to joining Ariel Property Advisors, Mrs. Bukobza spent over six years as a strategist and creator for a digital marketing firm she founded. In this role, she developed advertising campaigns for a wide range of clients, leveraging social media to promote international luxury travel and tourism.

Mrs. Bukobza earned a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Reichman University in Israel. She supports a number of philanthropic organizations including Ukraine Rescue Mission, Yad Ezra V’Shulamit, which provides food and basic supplies to individuals and families throughout Israel, and Chai Lifeline, an international children’s health support network.

Julian Montilus

Julian Montilus is an Investment Sales Professional with Ariel Property Advisors. In this role, he is responsible for executing exclusive listings and facilitating business development initiatives throughout New York City. He is involved in marketing an array of asset classes, including multifamily, mixed-use, industrial, commercial and development.

Prior to joining Ariel Property Advisors, Mr. Montilus was a transaction analyst at Marcus & Millichap and previously a real estate agent at Dallien, a full-service boutique real estate firm.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate from the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate.

While at NYU, he was captain of the Varsity Men’s Track and Field team and set school records for the 110m and 400m hurdle. He was a member of NYU’s SPS Real Estate Club and also served as his fraternity’s team captain for The Andrew McDonough B+ (Be Positive) Foundation, where he organized events to help raise money for children with cancer. He continues to be involved with community organizations and volunteers at a food bank in Harlem every Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
