James Wenk, Kirill D. Azovtsev, Allison Buck and Alex Redlus of Savills are responsible for the successful transaction as well as the seven-year extension of the firm’s current lease.
Earlier this month, award-winning New York City residential real estate firm Katz & Matz P.C. joined Romer Debbas. Together in 2021, the firms closed approximately 1,900 residential purchase/sale transactions for individual clients and approximately 1,400 residential loan transactions on behalf of various lending institutions.
With an aligned ethos and dedication to specialized representation by tenured practitioners, the 35-lawyer firm will operate under Romer Debbas and extend service to all legal matters, including residential, commercial, landlord/tenant, and trusts and estates. The firm is led by Managing Partners Michael J. Romer and Pierre E. Debbas.

Dubbed the Shadowless Skyscraper, 275 Madison Avenue was completed in 1931 and designed by architect Kenneth Franzheim. The building, which was designated a New York City landmark in 2009, is owned by RPW Group, Robert Weisz, and Andrew Weisz. Romer Debbas’s newly acquired space will be renovated to meet the high-end standards upheld by the landlord and valued by its long-term tenants.
Michael J.
