RCCB Adds Kira Lum and Adam Weiss

Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld LLC (RCCB) is pleased to announce Kira N. Lum has joined the Litigation Group, while Adam M. Weiss has joined the Corporate & Business Group.

Kira Lum represents entrepreneurs, enterprises, and governmental entities in a range of litigation matters, ranging from commercial disputes to complex issues of first impression. She draws on her broad litigation experience in real estate, insurance, intellectual property, environmental regulation, charter school law, due process and the First Amendment to counsel clients. Kira has handled responses to government inquiries and has conducted internal investigations. She also guides businesses on emerging regulatory issues and risk avoidance.

“We are excited to have Kira join the RCCB team,” said Matthew Faranda-Diedrich, Litigation Partner. “Her experience in handling complex litigation matters and working closely with governmental entities further strengthens our expanding litigation practice.”

Prior to joining RCCB, Kira practiced at an Am Law 200 firm. In her spare time, she serves as an Exhibition Committee Member for the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, paints watercolors, and speaks Japanese conversationally. “I am thrilled to join such a unique law firm with a deep appreciation for the creative intelligence of their team,” Kira commented. “As an artist and litigator, I understand the passion of entrepreneurs, and I look forward to utilizing my expertise to assist our clients.”

Adam Weiss focuses his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, start-up and emerging growth company needs, general corporate and business counseling, and other general business needs. His focus centers on all aspects of a business’s life cycle from entity formation and strategic planning to succession, acquisition, and other exit events.

“We are delighted to have Adam join our expanding practice,” said David Gitlin, Corporate & Business Partner. “Adam’s finance expertise, coupled with his experience as an attorney, allow him to provide superior service to clients.”

Prior to joining RCCB, Adam served as a Corporate, Finance & Capital Markets attorney with Stevens & Lee, P.C., and had a career in investment banking before entering the legal field. “I am excited to join RCCB and collaborate with our team of seasoned lawyers,” enthused Adam.
