Susan Pryor Named Co-Director of Quinn Evans’ Richmond Office

Quinn Evans Architect Will Focus on Operations and Staffing 

Quinn Evans, a leading national practice providing architecture, interior design, planning, landscape architecture, and historic preservation, has announced that Susan Pryor, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has been named co-director of the firm’s Richmond office. Pryor will work with co-director Charles Piper, AIA, to oversee operations in the office, which employs more than 35 staff members.

Pryor is an associate with Quinn Evans and has 25 years of architectural experience. She is currently working on the modernization of Detroit’s iconic Michigan Central Station and the renovation and expansion of Spotsylvania Middle School in Virginia. She has extensive experience in the design of 21st-century learning environments, as well as community engagement initiatives and multidisciplinary design team management.

As co-director of the Richmond office, Pryor will focus on day-to-day operations and staffing. “Susan is a talented team builder who brings unique insights and a pragmatic focus to our work,” says Piper. “She has strong leadership skills and an excellent reputation with our clients.”

Pryor holds a Master of Architecture (2002) from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (1997) from the University of Virginia.
