Hall Booth Smith Adds Four Associates in Atlanta

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. is delighted to add four new associates in its Atlanta headquarters office as the firm expands to better serve clients on medical malpractice, general liability and a wide range of other matters.

Alex Kinzinger focuses her practice on health care and medical malpractice litigation defense. Before joining HBS, she was an associate at a firm near St. Louis where she represented medical professionals and institutions in medical malpractice, personal injury and employment law matters. She also previously worked as an associate general counsel for the largest health care provider to county jails in the U.S. In that role, she defended numerous medical malpractice and federal civil rights lawsuits, negotiated and drafted contacts, advised on HIPAA regulations and other corporate legal issues and handled labor and employment law matters. Earlier in her career, she served as an assistant public defender in the Champaign County Public Defender’s office in Urbana, Illinois and created case plans for hundreds of defendants on an ongoing basis and negotiated for lighter plea deals with state attorneys.

Alex earned a J.D. from Tulane University School of Law and a B.A. degree in legal studies and political science at the University of Illinois at Springfield.

Stuart Fallin Sumner focuses his practice on governmental liability and government affairs. He represents municipalities, government divisions, government officials and administrators in a wide range of liability claims and constitutional law matters. Before joining HBS, he worked for a firm in Savannah for several years where he concentrated on governmental liability work. He has also represented clients in personal injury and business litigation defense. Earlier in his career, Stuart had a judicial externship and summer clerkship for the Honorable Timothy C. Batten, Sr. of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and a summer clerkship with the Honorable P. Harris Hines, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia. In addition, he interned with U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss and U.S. Representative Lynn Westmoreland, and formerly served on the University of Virginia Honor Counsel acting as an oral advocate when students faced alleged Honor Code violations.

Stuart earned a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, and a B.A. degree in history from the University of Virginia.

Andrew Tyner focuses his practice on aging services, products liability and general liability claims. He has represented clients in commercial real estate litigation and personal injury lawsuits, and began his legal career as an intern in the Medicaid Fraud Division of the Georgia Attorney General’s Office. He was also a judicial intern in the Business Case Division for Fulton County Superior Court in Atlanta, and he served as a legislative aide to Stacey Abrams when she was the House Minority Leader in the Georgia House Democratic Caucus.

Andrew earned a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he competed on the Mock Trial Team and served on the managing board of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. He also completed dual B.A. degrees in International Relations and Political Science at the University of Georgia.

Christi R. Moore concentrates her practice on general liability matters. Before joining HBS, Christi served as a Staff Attorney for the Alcovy Judicial Circuit serving Georgia’s Walton and Newton counties. Christi was also a Legal Intern with USAA, a Legal Extern for the Federal Defense Office and an Extern for the US Department of Veterans Affairs.

Christi earned her J.D. from Mercer University School of Law in 2020. While pursuing her J.D., Christi served as the President of the Mercer Black Law Students Association and as the Regional Programming Chair for the Southern Region of the National Black Law Students Association. Christi was also a student of the Oxford Consortium for Human Rights in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Christi received her B.A. degree in Sociology from Davidson College.
