Hiesberger is a member of the Firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice and focuses on counseling clients and prosecuting US and foreign patent applications. He has drafted and prosecuted patent applications for a wide range of technologies in the fields of biotechnology, agriculture, medicine, nutrition and immunology. Some of the issued patents cover the world’s most successful commercial biotechnology products. Hiesberger also has extensive experience in handling proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, as well as drafting opinions related to patentability, infringement, validity and freedom to operate.
