Kelley Kronenberg is pleased to announce that Sophia Turner-Smith has joined the firm’s executive team as Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, she oversees the firm’s marketing, branding, media relations, events management, advertising, digital marketing, client experience, and business growth functions.
Turner-Smith is a dual-masters marketing expert with more than two decades of experience handling branding and marketing initiatives across multiple industries. Based in London for most of her career, she has run successful launches of $100 million product and service campaigns for Fortune 500 clients, managing more than 90 country teams concurrently.
Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Turner-Smith was Chief Marketing Officer of a large international bank based in Miami. She has also been a marketing consultant for fintechs in the US and the UK helping them set their businesses for launch and scale. With go-to-market experience in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the US, in regional and global roles, she has expertise delivering growth for multinational corporations such as Citigroup and Nokia and large agency networks like WPP’s Wunderman and Young & Rubicam.

Having worked both on the agency and corporate sides, Turner-Smith has a well-rounded view of how marketing generates growth from bold and creative ideas, effective branding, data-driven strategies, and tight processes. Additionally, she has substantial experience leading digital marketing transformation efforts and high-performing teams.
Turner-Smith received her MBA from the internationally recognized Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University and a second master’s degree, an MFA in Interactive Media, from the University of Miami. She is a Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP), accredited by the American Bankers Association, and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and French.
