Ty Kelly Elected to Baker Donelson’s Board of Directors

Baker Donelson shareholder Ty Kelly has been elected by the Firm’s shareholders to serve as a member of the Firm’s board of directors for a three-year term.

Ms. Kelly, a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, practices out of Baker Donelson’s Washington, D.C. and Baltimore offices. She represents companies and individuals in high-stakes litigation and white collar criminal matters nationwide.

Ms. Kelly is recognized by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers in Band 1 for Litigation: White-Collar Crime & Government Investigations in Maryland. She has also been listed in MarylandSuper Lawyers since 2015 and in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2018 in the practice area of Criminal Defense: White Collar. In 2021, she was also named a Leadership in Law honoree by the Daily Record.

A graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, Ms. Kelly is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Baltimore County Bar Association, Women’s White Collar Defense Association, and a permanent member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference. Ms. Kelly previously served as Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Maryland and as a Trial Attorney for the Department of Justice, Fraud Section, where she received the U.S. Attorney’s Office Barney Skolnik Award and the U.S. Attorney’s Office Award for Excellence in Prosecution of Fraud.
