Grin Appoints Jeff Margolis to Board of Directors

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Grin, a comprehensive digital orthodontic platform that provides oral health solutions in partnership with trusted local dentists and orthodontists, today announced that Jeff Margolis has joined the company’s Board of Directors. Margolis will apply 35-year health information technology experience as an innovator in the integration of benefits and care, and consumer activation, to guide Grin on rapid and systematic expansion of their teledental system. Grin’s suite of remote-use devices, Remote Monitoring, and Consultation capabilities—all utilizing applied Artificial Intelligence—streamlines both provider and patient experiences, while delivering industry cost efficiencies and equitable access to services.

“Jeff Margolis literally wrote the book on creating next-generation healthcare ecosystems where everyone can achieve and sustain their optimal health—and that’s exactly the kind of experience we wanted to bring to our company,” said Grin CEO Adam Schulhof, DMD. “Supercharging Grin with Jeff signals our ambition to bring Grin solutions to the masses, and exemplifies that we are building a formidable board to get there.”

“The entire oral care space is primed for exactly the kind of telehealth solutions that Grin offers, along with an accelerated growth strategy to evolve the industry in a rapid but practical way,” said Grin’s newest Board appointee, Jeff Margolis. “Grin has the leadership, technology, oral health expertise, and industry partners that makes for a potent combination to quickly gain market share. I’m delighted to join Grin’s board and contribute towards the company’s upward trajectory.”

The Grin experience consists of the Grin App, first-of-its-kind Grin Scope, and Grin Scope mini—FDA listed medical devices which serve as an intraoral adaptor to retract cheeks and provide full views of patients’ mouths. Under the supervision of partner orthodontists, these technologies currently engage with thousands of patients who are providing tens of thousands of self-scans to their care teams—across the US, Canada, Israel, and beyond.
