Raising Cane’s and Döner Brös Dining Establishments Join the Highly Anticipated Whole Foods at Towson Row

Greenberg Gibbons announced today that two new eateries will join Towson Row, the $350 million mixed-use destination and gateway to downtown Towson. Raising Cane’s and Döner Brös will open later this year, following the official debut of Whole Foods Market this Friday.

“We’re thrilled to add both Raising Cane’s and Döner Brös to Towson Row,” said Mark Gibbons, Vice President of Leasing for Greenberg Gibbons. “These two fast-casual restaurants add to the vibrant mix of retailers, services and offerings for the community.”

Raising Cane’s was founded in Louisiana by Todd Graves in 1996. The rapidly growing chain is best known for its chicken finger meals. This is the restaurant’s first location in the Baltimore region. The 3,900-square-foot restaurant is located on the corner of York Road beneath The York apartments and adjacent to Whole Foods and is expected to open this spring.

Döner Brös is a fast-casual restaurant specializing in authentic döner kebab. Their 100% Halal menu also includes döner dürüm, salads, rice bowls and their famous Turkish Nachos. This is Döner Brös’ third location. The 2,100-square-foot eatery will be located next to Raising Cane’s and is expected to open this summer.

Whole Foods, the world’s leading natural and organic foods grocer, is opening its new 59,119-square-foot store at Towson Row this week on January 14. The store’s design pays homage to the area’s history as a transportation hub with a light and bright color palette. The new location’s assortment emphasizes local products from Maryland, including fresh oysters.

Towson Row is located on five acres between York Road, Towsontown Boulevard, Washington Avenue and Chesapeake Avenue. The 1.2 million-square-foot development, anchored by a 59,119-square-foot Whole Foods Market, includes over 75,000 square feet of retail/restaurant space, 150,000 square feet of Class A office space, 720 student housing beds, 231 sophisticated apartment units, the adaptive re-use of the former National Guard armory building into Towson University’s StarTUp and a 220-room dual-flag hotel.
