Paul Clary, Co-Founder of MD Energy Advisors, has been appointed to the Advisory Council of The Maryland Clean Energy Center, an entity created by the Maryland General Assembly with a mission to assist other state agencies with implementing energy efficiency projects. Headquartered in Baltimore, MD Energy Advisors is a customer-centric energy management, marketing, and efficiency firm providing energy solutions to utilities, private companies and residential clients.
The Maryland Clean Energy Center works to advance the adoption of clean energy, energy efficiency products, services and technologies throughout the State to help homeowners and businesses save money on their energy bills. An additional economic development mission is to create new and existing jobs, drive business development in local communities, assist in the commercialization of innovative technologies and reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions to improve the environment.
“Increased energy demand and the subsequent rise in pricing are sparking important conversations about the use of renewable energy and feasible conservation practices needed to make a meaningful difference,” explained Paul Clary of MD Energy Advisors. “The Maryland Clean Energy Center is uniquely positioned to further this dialogue, raise awareness in the public realm and help bring change to existing policies and practices. I am honored to play a role in this endeavor and work collaboratively with the other leaders on the advisory council.”
“Paul brings valuable insights and fresh perspectives as our group aspires to enhance our range of services and expand the market for advanced energy solutions,” explained Katherine Magruder, Executive Director for the Maryland Clean Energy Center. “MD Energy Advisors is widely recognized as a team with critical thinkers who are extremely passionate about improving the energy environment to the betterment of consumers and business. We look forward to benefitting from his valuable input as we confront important matters facing many different audiences.”
Clary earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Morgan State University and is among three professionals that co-founded MD Energy Advisors in 2010.
