Facilities engineering and commissioning services firm Chinook Systems Inc. has signed a lease with JBG SMITH Properties for 9,169 square feet of commercial office space in Arlington Virginia’s “National Landing” submarket. Kay Chewning, Senior Director for Advisory Services at Edge represented the tenant who consolidated two office spaces and expanded within their existing 15-story building on the north end of National Landing. Leanne Berthiaume and Brian Cotter of JBG SMITH Properties represented the landlord in this lease transaction.
“By consolidating offices on a single floor, the client will gain efficiencies in layout and operations. Chinook’s programing requirements were evaluated based on growth projections and a desire to create a collaborative working environment for geographically distributed personnel. When construction is finished, the tenant will have a beautiful and efficient new office space where they can work collaboratively and grow their business,” explained Kay Chewning.
