Continental Realty Corporation (CRC), a Baltimore-based real estate investment and management company, has announced the selection of Sean Stringer as Fund Accountant. Stringer, who formerly worked as a Tax Associate at PwC, brings several years of accounting experience to this new position.
At CRC, Stringer will be responsible for a variety of functions related to the day-to-day accounting for the corporation’s private equity real estate funds, which own and manage a diverse portfolio of multifamily and retail properties in targeted markets throughout the United States. Stringer’s responsibilities will include maintaining the investor CRM database and portal, overseeing annual audit preparation, preparing quarterly and annual financial statements and acting as a key point of contact for investors.
“Sean brings strong experience with an emphasis on partnership tax returns, tax compliance and a comprehensive understanding of federal and state filings,” said Lauren Wayne, Vice President, Accounting for CRC. “He will be instrumental in the ongoing account management of CRC’s Fund and REIT structures as we continue to grow. Stringer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration – Accounting from the University of Alabama and a Master of Science degree in Accounting from George Mason University.
