MJ’s Pet Training Academy Expands Business with Opening of New Training Center in Acushnet

M.J.’s Pet Training Academy, which provides pet training and grooming for customers throughout the Southcoast, has opened a new location for the dog training portion of their business.

Owner and founder Melissa (M.J.) Viera confirmed today that the business has opened a 5500 square foot Training Center location at 1 Titleist Drive, Acushnet.

The new and expanded Training Center will offer group classes for manners and obedience, as well as workshops and “trick dog” training. “In addition to the basic manners and obedience training, we have enough space now to expand to some different training programs, even dog skateboarding events,” Melissa Viera said. There are in-person training classes, with six dogs per class, and there is training available both during the daytime and in the evening.

The business now has separate locations for training and for grooming. And, with their expanded team of professionals, MJ’s Pet Training Academy is now able to take on new grooming clients at their 132 South Main Street, Acushnet location.

Anyone interested in seeing a training class can sign in online via the website to get a sense of the kinds of training programs that are offered. Training and grooming are the two big services that the Academy is offering. MJ’s offers group classes, workshops, and private lessons (in person or virtually).
