Baltimore City to Lease Industrial Property in East Baltimore

The Baltimore City Mayor’s Office and Baltimore City Council recently leased 115 S. Kresson Street in East Baltimore City. The Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) will use the facility for storage of its fleet vehicles and equipment, as well as for office space. The landlord, Kresson, LLC, is currently making renovations to the property to suit DPW’s needs.

Jim Chivers of Gold and Company assisted Kresson, LLC on the lease terms while Naomi Evans of Latshaw Real Estate Group assisted Baltimore City.

The property is the former home of construction firm Cotten Construction, which occupied the space for more than 20 years. Chivers sold the site to Kresson, LLC in early 2021 with plans to lease the industrial property.

115 S. Kresson Street has a 4,000 sq. ft. office building and a 4,500 sq. ft. warehouse building on two acres of land with heavy industrial zoning. The property is located in a Hub Zone, Enterprise Zone, and Opportunity Zone. It has many incentives for industrial services companies and agencies.

“We’re pleased to match with the landlord and the tenant,” said Chivers. “East Baltimore City industrial areas continue to show strength because of their proximity to the port and Baltimore’s major thoroughfares.”
