The Honey Pot Appoints Dikla Treves to Board

A 20+ year product & brand-building veteran and women’s health advocate, Treves will support the Company’s disruption of the feminine care industry, welcoming more consumers into the hive

The Honey Pot Company, makers of the first complete plant-derived feminine care system on the market, announces today the addition of Dikla Treves to the Board of Directors. This Board placement was supported through the Company’s collaboration with Women On Boards (WOB) Project, a nonprofit with the mission of empowering women business leaders and improving diversity and inclusion at the board of directors level across consumer brands. Treves’ addition to The Honey Pot Company’s Board signals another important step today, on American Business Women’s Day, towards diversifying gender on boards and creating inclusive board selection ecosystems. The Honey Pot Company is also furthering its commitment to humans with vaginas through their announcement of partnerships with charitable organizations including The Alaffia Foundation (TAF), which empowers African communities through the advancement of Fair Trade, education, sustainable living, and gender equality; The Georgie Badiel Foundation, an organization which aims to provide clean water and sanitation to the people of Burkina Faso by building and restoring wells, providing technical training in well operation and maintenance, and creating educational programs for sanitary and hygiene practices; (RED); Lava Mae; Days for Girls and more.

The Honey Pot Company was founded by Beatrice Dixon, following her own personal suffering with bacterial vaginosis. Dixon’s grandmother appeared to her in a dream, providing her with a list of beautiful, efficacious ingredients to address her BV and from that visionary dream, The Honey Pot Company was born in 2014. With the goal of providing cleaner alternatives to conventional feminine care products that lack ingredient transparency, The Honey Pot Company has made its mark by offering products made by humans with vaginas for humans with vaginas. The brand offers products that are efficacious, contain known and trusted plant-derived ingredients, and are clinically, gynecologically, and dermatologically tested, first starting with the brand’s signature, effective herb-powered vaginal wash. The Honey Pot Company is available online and in-stores nationwide at Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Amazon, and more, now offering a full roster of feminine hygiene washes and wipes, organic menstrual tampons and pads, organic incontinence pads, mommy-to-be products, soothing vulva creams, boric acid suppositories, refreshing panty sprays, and organic lubricants. Treves will support the company’s next chapter as the Company continues to accelerate growth with a robust product innovation pipeline and social good emphasis.

“As a Company, it is paramount that we serve humans with vaginas with a clean approach and scientifically backed ingredients that really work, but more so that we serve humanity. Partnership with Women on Boards (WOB) Project was a perfect match when the time came to appoint our next Board member and we could not have dreamed up a better match than Dikla,” said Beatrice Dixon, Founder of The Honey Pot Company. “Dikla’s personal ethos is in complete alignment with our brand, and we are confident that her expertise will further propel our company growth, as well as our social impact in advancing health, education and accessibility for humans with vaginas.”

Treves brings over 20 years of experience in building innovative technology products and businesses in both B2C and B2B, including e-commerce, telehealth, ed-tech, subscription, CPG & SaaS. Treves has a unique approach of creating compelling strategic visions that instill clarity of purpose and inspire teams by developing a deep understanding of customers’ persona, psyche and market dynamics and leveraging these insights to build products & solutions that customers love, trust, and believe in. While at Harry’s, Inc., Treves led the direct-to-consumer business as well as the Company’s new business incubator, helping to conceive and grow a women’s telehealth business from scratch. Prior to Harry’s, Treves held notable positions with Amazon on the Audible team, with Lexis Nexis, and more. Treves served in the Israel Defense Forces as a People Operations Officer, holds her degree in law from the Tel Aviv University Law School, and earned her Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

“It is an honor for our organization to know both Bea and Dikla and combined we know this pair will make The Honey Pot unstoppable,” said Brianna Rizzo, Board Member of the Women on Boards (WOB) Project. “As an organization by women, for women, it is momentous to make this latest placement in support of a Company so committed to women’s health as well as humanity.”

“Honey Pot is solving real consumer problems with products rooted in efficacy,” said Dikla Treves, The Honey Pot Company Board Member. “Women’s health has always been incredibly close to my heart and when the Women on Boards Project team made the introduction to Bea, this felt like it was meant to be. Bea is incredibly humble and modest in what she has created and her heart for supporting humans with vaginas transcends through all of Honey Pot’s products, as well as the brand’s commitment to charitable partnerships. I am honored to join the team as we advance this work with products on shelves, in people’s homes, and out in the real world.”
