ABOUT CAMP OPPORTUNITY:

Since 1985, Camp Opportunity’s mission has been to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect in Maryland. The organization’s primary service is an annual over-night camp during which each camper is paired with an individual counselor for a week of programming designed to bolster self-esteem, develop resiliency and learn coping skills. In addition, Camp Opportunity engages with its campers throughout the year to reinforce these lessons, continue to build supportive relationships and keep them connected to their individual counselors.
