Dr. Steven Kull is a political psychologist and Director of the Program for Public Consultation within the School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland who has been studying public opinion on public policy for nearly three decades. He also founded and serves as President of Voice of the People, a nonpartisan organization seeking to give the public a greater voice in government decision making. He has worked extensively with officials in the U.S. Congress, the Executive Branch and the United Nations to develop surveys that help policymakers gain greater insight into the public’s values and beliefs on policy issues.

Voice Of the People (VOP) is a nonpartisan organization working to re-anchor our democracy in its founding principles by giving ‘We the People’ a greater and more effective voice in government.
