David Nevins Interviews Suzanne Lippa, Director of Admissions, The Highlands School

Suzanne Lippa is the director of admissions at The Highlands School, an independent, AIMS-accredited, K-12 program designed for students with dyslexia, ADHD, and language-based learning differences. In her role, Suzanne oversees all aspects of admissions including bringing in new students and retaining current students at The Highlands School. Suzanne has served as director of admissions since 2014. Prior to her role as director of admissions, she started at The Highlands School as a reading and math instructor in 2002, later becoming a testing specialist in 2006. Suzanne holds a bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education from Towson University and master’s in Literacy (Reading Specialist) from Loyola University, Maryland.

David is a Past President of the Board of Governors for the Center Club and is a former Chairman of the Board of Regents for the University System of Maryland, a position to which he was appointed by the Governor of Maryland. David has chaired the Maryland Public Broadcasting Commission and the Maryland Higher Education Loan Corporation, served as President of both the Jewish National Fund and the Towson Business Association and was a member of the PNC Bank board.
