DLA Piper Partner Barbara Trachtenberg Named to GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s 2021 Women of Influence List

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Barbara Trachtenberg, co-vice chair of the firm’s US Real Estate practice, has been named to GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s 2021 Women of Influence list recognizing commercial real estate female professionals who have “personally impacted the market and have significantly driven the industry to new heights via their outstanding successes.” The publication considered nominees’ professional career highlights, community involvement and dedication to furthering the development of the industry, including the role of women within it, in making its selections.

Trachtenberg was selected in part due to her high-profile work, including her recent representation of Ventas Inc. in its acquisition of a three-building life sciences portfolio in San Francisco, California, and her leadership in the real estate group’s response to COVID-19, including managing a team that created a database that tracked city, state and federal COVID-19 regulations, as well as their implications on commercial real estate, construction and beyond. The database allowed the firm’s Real Estate team to quickly understand the evolving challenges their clients encountered and advise them accordingly.

In her practice, Trachtenberg serves as a trusted advisor to real estate investors, providing practical, business-oriented solutions in all aspects of real estate transactions. Her clients include developers, institutional investors, REITs, pension funds and investment advisors who invest in diverse asset classes including life science, office, multi-family, retail, industrial, medical office, self-storage and data centers.
