Travis Huehlefeld of Wilson Cribbs + Goren. P.C., one of the largest real estate law firms in Texas, is now board-certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS). He joins over half of the attorneys in the firm as a board-certified designee in Commercial Real Estate Law.

Huehlefeld focuses his practice on commercial real estate and land use law.  He joined Wilson Cribbs + Goren in 2017 because of the firm’s expertise in servicing a wide range of real estate clients.  He obtained his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of North Texas in 2012 and earned a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2015 where he was an Articles Editor for the Houston Law Review.

TBLS certification is a voluntary designation program certifying Texas attorneys in 22 specific areas of law. Board-certified attorneys must be licensed for at least five years, devote a required percentage of practice to a specialty area for at least three years, attend continuing education seminars, pass an evaluation by fellow lawyers and judges, and pass a six-hour written examination. Initial certification is valid for five years. To remain certified, attorneys must apply for recertification every five years and meet substantial involvement, peer review and continuing legal education requirements for their specialty areas.

Wilson Cribbs + Goren, established in 1985, is one of the largest real estate practice groups in Houston, Texas. The firm solely focuses on commercial real estate with twenty-two well-rounded, varied and complementary experienced attorneys in all segments of the real estate industry.
