John Maldjian and Team of IP and Patent Professionals Join Stevens & Lee

Firm Expands IP Capabilities and Continues Strategic Growth in Northern NJ

Stevens & Lee announced today that John Maldjian has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice, which he will Co-Chair. He is based in the Bergen County and Princeton, NJ, offices and is joined by a team of experienced patent and intellectual property professionals that supports clients nationwide.

Mr. Maldjian was the founder and managing partner of the Maldjian Law Group, LLC, a boutique intellectual property firm with a particular depth in patent law. He and his team of IP and patent professionals possess varied backgrounds in biology, physics, engineering, technology and computer science to better assist clients in those sectors to procure, monetize and protect their patents and other IP assets.

In May, Stevens & Lee added national IP litigator and practice Co-Chair Mark Anania in Bergen County, an office that has quickly grown since opening last year.

Mr. Maldjian is a registered patent attorney with the USPTO and an electrical engineer by training. His clients range from startups to Fortune 500 companies and span a range of technology and engineering sectors, including electro-mechanical, software, telecommunications, informatics, AI and sustainable energy technology, among others. He earned his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law and a B.S.E.E  from Rutgers University.

In addition to Mr. Maldjian, the group includes Lisa BiancoWilliam J. (“Jay”) Connelly, IIIPatrick GarretMicah Goldsmith and Steven M. Plotkin, each of whom bring multifaceted backgrounds across a range of patent-rich industries.
