The 80-acre mixed-use destination on the Upper Westside to serve as new global headquarters, innovation center for flexographic and printing solutions brand
Atlanta-based flexographic and printing solutions company MacDermid Graphics Solutions is relocating its global headquarters to The Works, Selig Development announced today. Marking the largest office deal executed in the Upper Westside in 2021, MacDermid will also be establishing a new concept, The Flexo Xperience Center (The FXC), within its new 45,000-square-foot HQ. The relocation and flexo center are scheduled to open by the end of this year at 500 Chattahoochee Row at The Works.

Since the beginning of the year, The Works has experienced an influx of interest from a variety of professional companies and retailers looking to expand offices or open up shop at the destination. Other office tenants at The Works include Uppercut, a post-production company based in New York City, and Conisus, a provider of strategic medical communication services to the biopharmaceutical industry, which together comprise 25,000 square feet of 1255 Makers Way, the site’s existing adaptive reuse office space.
The Works is also home to multiple retailers and restaurants, such as Dr. Scofflaw’s, Ballard Designs, Adelina Social Goods, BOBO Intriguing Objects, Basik Spaces, Stellar Bodies, Les Mains Nail Bar and Chattahoochee Food Works, a 31-stall food hall. The Camp, a heavily programmed, one-acre signature park, and the Spur, a 970-foot linear park, are additional highlights. Tenants opening this summer include American Axes and Fox Bros Bar-B-Q.
