Citybiz Interview with Tony Julianelle and Vincent Deorio – Atlas Real Estate

Tony is a successful organizational leader with more than 20 years in real estate and financial services who is passionate about developing people and serving customers. He is a consultant to various business partners, focusing on strategy, execution, and bottom-line business results. Tony is an articulate, concise and professional communicator as well as a gifted people motivator. He is regularly referenced and featured in local and national media for leadership, finance, and real estate insights.

Prior to joining Atlas, Tony worked with Wells Fargo, holding a variety of leadership positions during this time. In his role as Regional Manager, he was responsible for the mortgage origination business in seven states in the mountain Midwest.

Additionally, Tony has held a variety of professional and personal board positions throughout his career. Boards he has served on include: Mortgage Bankers Association of Kansas City, Colorado Mortgage Bankers Association, Habitat for Humanity (Kansas City), and Park Church Denver. He has also served as faculty for the Denver Institute of Faith and Work. Most recently, Tony has become a member of the Denver Business Journal Leadership Trust.

Tony has a bachelor’s degree from Trinity International University.

Vincent Deorio is the Vice President, Corporate Development for Atlas Real Estate, a full-service real estate company specializing in investment brokerage, property management and institutional acquisition. In this position, Deorio is focused on growth, expanding all divisions of the Denver-based company through M&A, corporate development, and market expansion. He recently solidified a $1 Billion joint venture with DivcoWest and brings a proven track record in leading the growth of firms backed by both private equity and venture capital to this role.

Prior to joining Atlas, Deorio was the Vice President of M&A/Corporate Development at Oakland, CA-based Mynd Management, a technology pioneer in the small residential property management sector and was the Vice President of Acquisitions for San Francisco-based J Street Hospitality, Inc., where he specialized in developing and acquiring sites for hoteliers before his tenure at Mynd.

For nearly a decade, Deorio has served as a principal and consultant for a variety of real estate investment and finance companies, including The Deorio Group, PierFund, West Realty Advisors, LLC and Canter Companies. In all, he has deployed in excess of $1 billion across multiple markets and asset classes, for both institutional and private capital partners.
