Silicon Valley start-up marks success in its home state with $1 million giveaway
A California start-up is celebrating its growth across the Golden State by giving away $1 million to a fellow resident.
San Francisco-based Mido Lotto just launched last spring, offering Californians the first legitimate way to order State Lottery tickets from their phones.
Since then, Californians have won more than $1 million in prizes through Lottery tickets ordered on the Mido Lotto app. Additionally, Mido Lotto has become the highest rated transactional Lottery app in the Apple iTunes Store with 15K+ five-star reviews.

Entering the $1 million sweepstakes is easy, and there is no purchase necessary. New users simply need to download the Mido Lotto app, create and register an account to be automatically entered to win the million dollar sweepstakes. Mido Lotto will announce the winner on September 9.
Existing Mido Lotto users can also enter the “Mido Million” by referring their friends. Free Mega Millions tickets can be sent to friends from within the app, and each new user that registers via a referral gives the referrer another sweepstake entry.

How it Works
