Continental Realty Corporation (CRC), a Baltimore-based real estate investment and management company, has announced the promotion of Melissa Love to Assistant Community Manager of Millworks Apartments, a 345-unit multifamily community located in the Buckhead section of downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Love has worked for CRC since last year and was formerly a Leasing Specialist at 101 North Ripley Apartments in Alexandria, Virginia.
In her new position, Ms. Love will assist with all leasing and property management operations for the multifamily community located at 1888 Emery Street, NW with a focus on resident retention, achieving high conversion ratios, and handling delinquencies. She will play a role in planning and implementing marketing programs that attract prospects to Millworks Apartments, and help create and sustain an environment that fosters the retention of existing residents. Ms. Love will also become involved with the local community to establish and strengthen relationships that benefit the property.
Millworks Apartments features a mix of one bedroom to three-bedroom floorplans with flexible designs ranging from 647 to 1,470 square feet of space. Balconies and porches are included on each apartment home. Standard features include quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, nine-foot ceilings with fans and vinyl wood plank flooring. The community amenity package includes a saltwater pool with outdoor lounge area that is accented by dual-faced gas fireplaces, a fire table, grilling station and a sun shelf. The resident clubhouse contains a fully-appointed kitchen, lounge, and multi-purpose athletic club with cardio equipment and yoga space.
Ms. Love has more than 13 years of property management and residential real estate experience, having worked in various leasing and property management positions with Bainbridge Companies Mid-Atlantic, Clark Realty and Panco Management. In those roles she handled responsibilities including sales, lease administration, collections, and complaint management.
