Alzheimer’s Community Care’s 24th Annual Education Conference Showcased the World’s Leaders in Alzheimer’s Research and Education

Alzheimer’s Community Care hosted its 24th Annual Education Conference on May 17th at the Marriott Palm Beach Gardens. The Conference theme was Precision Approaches to Care. Experts in the field offered perspectives on individualizing approaches to neurocognitive disorders and for preserving cognitive health.

During this year’s conference, attendees heard from the world’s leaders in Alzheimer’s research and education. Featured speakers included:

  • David Watson of the Alzheimer’s Research and Treatment Center who spoke about precision medicine and its application in Alzheimer’s clinical research.
  • Cognitive Neurologist Dr. James E. Galvin who spoke about a precision medicine approach to building a better brain.
  • Cognitive Neurologist Dr. Christian Agudelo who spoke about the crucial relationship between sleep, brain health, and Alzheimer’s.

  • Harnessing Your Personal Power presented by Karen Gilbert DNP MS RN CDP, V.P. of Education & Quality Assurance at Alzheimer’s Community Care.
