Assignment for assets in Silver Spring and Wheaton total more than 70,000 square feet of space

The management division of Edge, a full-service commercial real estate firm with offices in Washington D.C., Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania, has been selected by Hillerson Properties to provide full-service property management and engineering services for three buildings in the Montgomery County, Maryland area totaling more than 70,000 square feet of space. Christina Martin, Director of Property Management will oversee the property management team and Shaun Comer, Director of Engineering will direct the facilities and engineering team for each requirement.
The Edge Property Services Group will oversee day-to-day property management and engineering services for The Atrium Building, a 27,000 square foot asset located at 914 Silver Spring Avenue; The Triangle Building, a nearly 24,000 square foot building situated at 11123 Veirs Mills Road in Wheaton; and The Thayer Building, a nearly 20,000 square foot building positioned at 8241 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring.

“Because these high-use assets are relatively older, it is especially important to apply the most effective property and engineering protocols to preserve the physical plant and derive the most efficiency from the HVAC systems,” explained Christina Martin, Director of Property Management for Edge Property Services Group. “Our team is extremely comfortable interacting with properties that feature multiple restaurants and consumer services uses with steep traffic patterns that can accelerate wear and tear.
