David Nevins Interviews Eric Levitt, Managing Partner at EML Realty

Prior to founding EML Realty Partners, Eric was owner of a local home building and land development company in Maryland that was sold to a NYSE public company in 2005. Afterwards, he formed EML Management a private real estate investment firm focused on the acquisition of strategically located, income producing commercial properties in the Maryland market. This entity still exists and holds ownership in many of the properties owned in Maryland.

EML Realty Partners was created in 2018 as Eric decided to re locate full time to South Florida with his family and transition his focus to building a bigger commercial real estate portfolio in Florida.

Eric was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and is a graduate of St. Paul’s School For Boys. He received his BA from Franklin and Marshall College and now lives in Palm Beach and Jupiter Florida with his wife and children.

David is a Past President of the Board of Governors for the Center Club and is a former Chairman of the Board of Regents for the University System of Maryland, a position to which he was appointed by the Governor of Maryland. David has chaired the Maryland Public Broadcasting Commission and the Maryland Higher Education Loan Corporation, served as President of both the Jewish National Fund and the Towson Business Association and was a member of the PNC Bank board.
