Corporate and Venture Capital Partner Joshua H. Soloway Joins Moses & Singer

Moses & Singer LLP is pleased to announce the arrival of Joshua H. Soloway as a partner in its Corporate practice group.

Soloway brings deep experience counseling domestic and international clients—particularly in the renewables and technology sectors– on M&A and various financing issues with a focus on asset management and venture capital.

“Josh is an ideal addition to our corporate group. His diverse background in venture capital and emerging markets will be instrumental as the firm expands our ESG expertise.  As our clients grow and innovate, they will benefit from Josh’s experience and ability to navigate the complex legal issues which they will confront,” said Dean Swagert, Moses & Singer’s Managing Partner.

Soloway will continue his focus on assisting investors, emerging growth companies, and mid-market businesses. He will provide counsel on growing and scaling businesses successfully and on legal issues associated with market expansion, capital raising, commercial transactions, and ongoing business and legal operations. He will also offer strategic guidance on structuring and capital markets, as well as expertise in optimizing legal infrastructure to support rapid growth and long-term success.  Over the years, his clients have included growth-stage businesses, VC and PE funds, middle-market companies and international businesses.

“I am pleased to be part of a firm with such a long history of providing its clients with top-tier legal representation and personal attention,” notes Soloway. “I look forward to drawing on my background as an entrepreneur, investment banker, and corporate attorney.  I am eager to work with my talented colleagues to help entrepreneurs, executives, and investors strategically grow and accelerate as we enter a post-pandemic environment.”

Soloway also brings expertise in ESG, sustainable investing, and impact entrepreneurship, having served as Special Counsel to the Vatican’s Laudato Si Challenge impact accelerator initiative, supporting international early-stage startups focused on sustainability and social impact.

Soloway is passionate about helping businesses and investors to profitably innovate and drive positive change. He publishes a weekly newsletter called the Impact Innovator. He has co-hosted the Funding Lab, guest-hosted the top-ranked Innovation & Leadership podcast, and is soon to launch a new podcast entitled Growth and Scaling on the Graystoke Media platform.  He speaks regularly on international business, emerging growth companies, venture finance, energy and impact investing.

Soloway joins Moses & Singer from Barton LLP, where he worked with middle-market, growth stage, and multinational companies and investors. Previously, he was a Managing Director with international consulting firm Rainmaker Global and began his legal career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he advised on international fund structuring and cross-border transactions, as well as tax regulatory and compliance matters. He earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and his B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
